Robert Neale, Esq

Mr. Neale serves as a senior attorney in the firm's business immigration, family immigration, and humanitarian immigration. He is an accomplished attorney with over 30 years of experience in business immigration practice. He enjoyed his days helping the best and brightest people from all over the world navigate the complexities of global migration. 

Rob has served in multiple management positions being in charge of immigration practice handling all immigration and nationality law matters, including obtaining temporary and permanent visas for clients, defending clients in enforcement proceedings, and advising on immigration and citizenship matters. He worked closely with client HR and recruiting teams to oversee inbound and outbound immigration matters.

As a former in-house lawyer at Microsoft Corporation, Rob brings a unique perspective in understanding how a client's international immigration policies and practices can be used as a competitive advantage in hiring and retaining the best foreign talent. Rob advises clients on all aspects of corporate immigration law, regulation, policy, and compliance, including nonimmigrant work visas, permanent residence, naturalization, family-based matters, and corporate restructuring. He advises employers on implementing comprehensive I-9 and E-verify compliance programs and provides legal representation on government audits and administrative actions.

Before joining aiLegal Law, Rob served as a Senior Counsel at Clark Hill, Partner at Garvey Schubert Barer, Partner at Fisher Philips, Managing Attorney at Fragomen, and Senior Attorney at Microsoft.

As the parent of two international adoptees from Taiwan, immigration has touched Rob on a personal level. He has also experienced the same uncertainties, delays, and frustration  from nativaging the immigration process that our clients live every day. These life experience have enabled him to become a compassionate advocate on behalf of clients.

Rob earned a J.D. from the University Of Oregon School of Law where he received an Environmental Law Certificate and earned a joint J.D. /M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. He earned a B.A. with High Honors from DeVry Institute of Technology.

Rob is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia as a Practitioner of Foreign Law, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the King County Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker before business and employer associations, including the Society for Human Resource Management, and has authored numerous articles and blogs.
