We are deeply saddened and concerned by the rise of hate crimes and violence towards Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. The false blame to AAPI community for Covid-19 crisis has contributed to the spike of violence and crimes against AAPI community. Innocent Asian Americans have been targeted, injured and even killed in hate crimes. On March 16, 2021, a murder took 6 Asian women's lives in Atlanta with senseless claims. We condemn those hate crimes and violence in strongest terms.
We feel our responsibility to take actions to protect the AAPI community from those hate crimes and violence.
