Mr. Suvarna leads the firm's talent based immigration practice for scientists, executives, artists, and creative professionals. His expertise is spread across various nonimmigrant and immigrant visa classifications, specifically in employment based petitions. Apart from working with small to medium size companies, Dhiraj also works with fortune 500 and 100 companies. Dhiraj has developed a niche in convincing the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services of the extra-ordinary ability, national interest, outstanding contributor and outstanding research of certain exceptional foreign nationals, in EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, and O-1.


Dhiraj has over 14 years of experience exclusively practicing U.S. Immigration Law. Prior to joining aiLegal Law, Dhiraj worked in a busy immigration law firm in Texas as a Partner. Dhiraj has intensive hands on experience in immigration practice, including but not limited to the followings:

▪ Consulted with the USCG to secure Letter of Exemption for US flagged Vessels

▪ Consulted with the USCG to secure Letter of Determination for Rig workers

▪ Consulted with the TSA to arrange TWIC for Rig workers through special registration centers

▪ Represented clients in removal proceedings at the Immigration Court in Houston

▪ Successfully obtained Permanent Residency for clients in removal proceedings

▪ Successfully tailored/negotiated a suit withdrawal by DHS Trial Attorney


Citizenship:

▪ N-400 Successfully Naturalized PRs with complicated breaks in physical presence as well as DUI and drug convictions

▪ N-600 Successfully secured derivative claims to citizenship to illegitimate children of a USC father

▪ Aided in obtaining US passports as a citizen at birth when N- 600’s was not a cost-effective choice

▪ N-336 – successfully appealed N-400 denials on issues relating to GMC & voting


Being an immigrant himself from India, Dhiraj enjoys helping our clients navigate through the complex immigration process to achieve their own American dreams. Dhiraj is also active in the community, including coaching kids in soccer, baseball, and cricket. Along with riding his motorcycle as often as possible, Dhiraj loves to float down the Guadalupe river and snow board once a year as recreation.
